More than emulation

A complete system in the FPGA.

The core combines the familiar behaviour of the Nascom 2 with features that make the system convenient and practical today.

T80s Z80, NAS-SYS 3, Microsoft BASIC and the classic 48 × 16 character display.

Load NAS, CAS and DSK files directly from the /NASCOM2 directory on the SD card.

CP/M 2.2, a WD1793 floppy controller and the Lucas Logic AVC Model B in one core.

UART, real-time clock and optional Ethernet with ping, DNS and outgoing TCP connections.

Install the core
Transfer the bitstream and associated files to the MEGA65.

Prepare the SD card
Put programs and disk images in the /NASCOM2 directory.

Press F11
Select and load a file, then run it at the displayed start address.
